Yesterday afternoon we watched A Beautiful Mind. I have no idea what the whole hoopla about this movie was about. The first half of the movie was pretty boring, moving pretty slowly. The second half was a bit better, but still not that interesting. I was also waiting, at least, for an exciting ending. Didn't get it. Feel free to pass up on this one...

Monsters Inc. | |

Last night we finally saw Monsters Inc. on the DVD. I got this movie for my birthday several months ago but it took us a while to sit down and actually watch it. In one word: amazing! This movie really deserves the five stars I gave it. Not only are the visual effects outstanding but the story is fun too. This is the first movie that I'm glad I have on DVD.

Abandon | |

We just came back from watching Abandon at the movie theater. The movie pretty much was a flop. It didn't move fast enough, nothing much happened, and the so called "thriller" end just didn't live up to the expectations. Instead of some creative, thrilling, explanations for what went on during the movie, the movie just gives some very basic excuses for what we just saw, so you leave without really feeling satisfied.
