Last night we saw Someone Like You with a couple of friends.By looking at the cover of the movie (and according to its name and actors) you might as well just call it "Not Another Girl Movie". Since I wasn't expecting much from this movie it turned out to be not so bad (just don't quote me on this :o) Basically it's a girly movie but the story is interesting enough not to fall asleep (that's the biggest compliment it will get out of me).

My Big Fat Greek Wedding | |

Today we saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding.This is a movie that normally I wouldn't see but for some reason I started watching it and it seemed pretty good. The movie was a lot funnier than I had expected and there are some great moments with the lead character's Greek family. The end was a bit boring without any surprises (it was more or less a standard wedding scene) so that kinda ruined it. Overall, a fun movie to see. BTW: It seems that there is a follow up TV series called My Big Fat Greek Life that shows their day to day life after the honeymoon. According to the reviews that it got, it doesn't seem very good.

Catch Me If You Can | |

Today we saw Catch Me If You Can.The movie was ok, especially since the story is based on a true story of a real man. There were some parts that seemed a little slow, where nothing much happened, but overall the story was pretty cool and quite amazing that somebody actually did all those things (like working as an airline pilot, doctor, and lawyer, even thought he wasn't any of them).

Broken Arrow | |

Yesterday I happened to catch Broken Arrow on TV.It's one of those movies that I always wanted to see but never got to it. Although it wasn't too bad it wasn't that much fun either. Just a plain old action wannabe film. Some nice explosions, but not much more than that.
