40 Days and 40 Nights

Get this DVD at Amazon Yesterday we saw 40 Days and 40 Nights.
This movie isn't as bad as I had expected (although it is no Dude, Where's My Car?).

There really isn't much to say about this movie, it's just a fun way to spend an hour and a half, nothing more, nothing less.

You can check it out but don't expect this to become a classic.

Out Cold

I just finished watching Out Cold.
This seems like one of those cool, outrageous movies, but it's not.

Although there were several funny scenes, especially the scene where they take the dude who passed out, put him in the driver's seat, spin the car in a circle, and all start screaming (the poor dude wakes up and sees that he's driving, the car's spinning, and all his friends are screaming :o), the movie was pretty boring.

One thing though: there are some cool snowboarding scenes.

Scorched

Another movie we saw this weekend is Scorched.
The way the story is told is similar to Pulp Fiction: several stories that are intertwined (and penning scene shows you part of the end of the movie).

Basically, the movie is about three tellers who work at the same bank who all decide, individually, to rob the bank on the same weekend.
The three stories (and some related story-lines) are all told in parallel till they all come together in the end.

Although it is not as good as Pulp Fiction was (and not even close to Memento, which was excellent) it's still fun to check out.

Domestic Disturbance

Get this DVD at Amazon Yesterday afternoon we saw Domestic Disturbance.
It's a pretty good movie with quite a fast pace.
Throughout the movie the plot keeps you glued to the screen without any boring moments.

A nice one for catching on the DVD.
